AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Girl’s soccer: no practice today. Please see Mr. Harring in front of the main office today to get next weeks practice schedule.

Football tickets are available in the office until 2:45 today. They will also be available in the office tomorrow from 8-2:30.

All parade participants must be at the Freshman School by 5:30. The roads will close at 5:30.

Study session after school and tonight at 7:15.

Cheerleaders are reminded to stay after school today.

All TAG members need to bring their money for t-shirts next week.

Pro Life Club will meet today after school in room 009.

Rules for Homecoming Dance:1. Students must arrive at the dance by 9:30 or parents will be contacted.
2. All school rules regarding behavior apply during dances, especially those pertaining to possession or influence of drugs and/or tobacco.
3. Once a student has entered the dance, he/she may not leave to go to the parking lot for any reason.
4. No one may leave the homecoming dance before the court is announced.
5. A Breathalyzer test may be used at the dance.
6. Any inappropriate dancing will be addressed.

Badin Rally Towels will be for sale at the gate at the homecoming game.

St. Ann's is having their annual Fall Fun Fest on Friday, October 16 from 6:00 to 10:00. We are looking for high school students to volunteer for face painting and to work the haunted house. Service hours will be given for the time worked. If interested, please see Caleb Conrad.

Sign up sheets for boys & girls CYO basketball are on the office counter. Deadline to sign up is October 14th

Ambassador officers meet today after school. Please see Mr. Allen or Mrs. Angie Gray in the Development Office if you have any questions.

2 College Fairs are taking place in the area on this Sunday and this Tuesday --- 1) Over 200 colleges will present themselves this Sunday from 1 to 4 o’clock downtown at the Duke Energy Center. 2) The Southwest Regional College Fair, which takes place on this Tuesday from 6 to 8 at Miami University, Hamilton Branch. Seniors and juniors are urged to attend. If interested, pick up more information in the Guidance Office.

Seniors: Ohio University will be here on Monday at 8:30. Sign up in the Guidance Office using the request form. Please sign up today for Monday’s presentation.

The JV tennis match with McAuley is cancelled. Team will have practice at Riverside from 3-4:30 today.

Seniors:Ohio Dominican will be here at 10:48 (5th bell) today. This is a liberal arts university with about 3000 plus students. If you are looking for a catholic liberal arts college this is a great opportunity. See Mr. Kenkel this morning. The institution is located in the Columbus area, so it is just far enough away from home to allow your independence, and yet, close enough to home to get home easily during breaks. There are around 30 plus majors to choose from. Again, Ohio Dominican will be here today at 10:48. See Mr. Kenkel right away if you are interested.

Wright State University will be here at 1:00 today. This institution is located in the Dayton area and enrollment is around 17,000. There are over 100 majors to choose from. This public university seems to be pretty generous with scholarship dollars and with grants. You can access all buildings through underground tunnels or passageways so that when the weather is poor; you can travel throughout most campus areas underground. This presentation is at 1 today. See Mr. Kenkel this morning if interested.

  • JKB and AMP members are reminded to turn in RASKAL forms to Mrs. Marot as soon as possible. All forms turned in by Wednesday will get a RASKALS t-shirt.
  • An organizational meeting of Art Club will be held on Tuesday of this week in room 022. You do not have to be registered in an art class to attend. All are welcome. The meeting is tomorrow afternoon!

Badin’s boys cross country team placed second among 20 teams at the St. X Invitational Saturday. Brent Fritz paced the Rams. Evan North, Sam Wade, Chris Getz, and Mike Getz scored for the Rams.
