AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to Joe M. for being selected as the HOBY Ambassador for the 2009-10 school year.Also, congratulations to Kim G. for being selected as the alternate Ambassador.

Freshmen who have Mr. Mignery 3rd & 7th Periods are reminded to pick up their homework paper before they leave school today.

Attention students, there are currently 4 open spots on the JUNIOR roster for Powderpuff. Any interested junior girls need to see Mrs. Helms before leaving today. Also, there are still 2 or 3 open spots for coaches for both the sophomore and junior teams, interested guys also need to see Mrs. Helms before leaving today. All TAG members are reminded that we’re having a VERY IMPORTANT meeting on Monday after school in the library. It should last less than ½ hour.

Ambassadors who are assisting with Open House Sunday should report to the cafeteria by 11:30 a.m. All who are helping should remember to turn their clocks back in order to be on time.

Congratulations to the girl’s soccer team. They won their 5th straight district championship with a 2-0 victory over Urbana Thursday night. Kim G. and Allie C. scored the goals and Caitlin S. counted the shutout in goal. The girls will play Wyoming in the Regional Semifinalcs Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

Wrestling conditioning will begin this upcoming Monday at 3 p.m. until approximately 4 p.m. Anyone interested even if currently participating in a fall sport are encouraged to stop by the wrestling room and get a calendar of upcoming events and days of interest.
