Afternoon Announcements

  • Attention November Jr. Retreat Leaders: the leader meeting has been changed to Tuesday after school.
  • All juniors going on retreat are reminded to get permission slips in as soon as possible.
  • Junior retreat leaders need to have their songs to J. Fontaine no later than Monday.
  • All Powderpuff participants must be at the field by 5:45 p.m.
  • Girls reserve soccer team should turn in their equipment on Monday or Tuesday to Ms. Kocher's office - room 105.
  • There will be a brief NHS meeting after school today in room 225.
  • Members of the History Club who want to do cemetery work are reminded that they will be meeting after school on Monday. Bring jeans and tennis shoes.
  • The date for the NHS induction has been changed to November 18th.
  • Attention seniors: We will be collecting for the canned food drive on Sunday in Fairway Hills. Meet in Badin's parking lot at 4 p.m. if you would like to come and help. All seniors are welcome!
  • JKB and AMP students are reminded that the RASKALS service project is this Sat. We will meet Sat. morning at 8:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart's parking lot. Please wear Badin spiritwear and bring your own rakes. Any questions, see Mrs. Marot.

  • Senior athletes who missed the awards ceremony last night should report to room 105 for your awards.
  • There will be a brief NHS meeting today after school.

  • Because of the girls' soccer team's drive to state, the date for NHS induction was changed to avoid possible conflict. The new date for the ceremony is November 18th and will not be changed back.
  • Ohio Northern University will be here today during 5th bell to speak with interested students. See Mr. Kenkel if interested.

AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Green and white day tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 6. Sweatpants may be worn---no shorts may be worn.

There is an optional powder puff practice for sophomores tonight here at 5:30. Meet in back parking lot.

Tonight is the Fall Sports Awards presentations. It begins in the gym at 6:30 p.m. The following sports will be honored tonight: cross country, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Athletes are reminded that they should dress appropriately for an awards ceremony.

Football playoff tickets are available in the office and in the cafeteria at lunch. Presale price is $7 and all tickets are $9 at the gate. Tickets will be available until 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

Ambassador Officers meet after school for 30 minutes. Please plan to attend.

Join us for open bowling on today, November 5th, before you try-out on Friday, November 13th & Monday, November 16th. It all happens at Northwest Lanes from 3:15 – 5 p.m.

The sophomore powder puff practice will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Joyce Park, before the game.

All marching band, color guard, and drum line members, please see Mr. Moore before you leave today.

  • Any student interested in becoming a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student should attend a brief meeting in the library this morning at 8:00 a.m. You should have received informationon this program earlier this year in homeroom.
  • The junior class needs to get a Powderpuff roster to Mrs. Helms by the end of the day today. If you do not have a minimum of 15 players you will have to forfeit your team.
  • Any students who are not players or coaches and want to buy Powderpuff t-shirts need to place their order and pay $10 for shirts at lunch tomorrow.
  • The History Club will meet today after schoolin room 011.
  • Congratulations to E. North and B. Fritz who qualified for the cross country meet. They will be running in Columbus this Saturday.
