Morning Announcements

  • Members of the History Club will have their next meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17th. All members are encouraged to attend.
  • Bowling Tryouts will be at Northwest Lanes today from 3:15-5:00 p.m.
  • Reminder to girls soccer: Awards Program is this Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
  • There will be an NHS meeting after school in room 225.
  • Attention all students: the canned food drive ends next Wednesday. Our school goal is 5000 cans and we have a long way to go. Everyone is encouraged to help their class collect, bring in cans to school and donate money. Remember, the canned food drive does count for spirit week points.
  • The juniors will be collecting cans this Saturday at Walden Ponds. We will meet at noon. Everyone is welcome.
  • The sophomores will be having their canned food drive this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. People should meet at K. Gerbus' house. If you need directions or have questions, see her.
  • Attention all freshmen: We will be collecting cans for the canned food drive on Sunday in the Lakewood subdivision and all freshmen are invited to come and help. We will meet at G. Geigle's house at 3:00 p.m. If you have questions, see C. Pickerill.
  • Attention all winter sports athletes: The mandatory meeting for all athletes and at least one parent is this Sunday, Nov. 15th beginning at 12:30. Note the time change - we are starting at 12:30 instead of 1:00.
  • Winter sports pictures will be taken after school on Mon., Nov. 16th. The schedule is posted on the ticket booth.

Morning Announcements

  • Attention Girls' Soccer Team: Please turn in soccer equipment Tuesday through Thursday after school to Ms. Kocher or Mr. Harring next to the locker room.
  • Attention all seniors: We will be collecting cans Thursday after shcool in Fairway Hills. We will also be collecting on Sunday at 10 a.m. in Random Hills. Everyone is encouraged to participate but if you can't make either or these dates, you are asked to give a money donation to buy cans. The money can be given to Alex by Friday.
  • There is an Executive Board meeting after school today in the library. All student council officers and class presidents should be there.

  • Pro-Life Club will meet this Thursday after school. Final information and permission forms for Washington D.C. are available. Students going on trip must attend.
  • In need of service hours? Good Samaritan Hospital is requesting help. Mr. Kenkel has applications. See him if interested.
  • Mrs. Bucheit will be out today, Thursday and Friday this week.
  • Six Ambassadors are needed to help with decorations at the Lane Hooven House in downtown Hamilton on Sat., Nov. 21, starting at 9:00 a.m. You will be preparing this facility, which houses the Hamilton Community Foundation, for the upcoming holiday season. Please sign up in the Development Office.
  • Phys Ed classes should report to the gym for study hall today.
  • Golfers who have not turned in bags should bring them to room 105.
  • Soccer and Volleyball uniforms should be turned in to room 105.
  • All juniors going on retreat tomorrow are reminded that they need to have their permission slips in before leaving. They are to come in green & white day attire and they are to go directly to the chapel at the conclusion of second period tomorrow.
  • All junior retreat leaders are reminded that they are to bring their permission slips on Thursday when they meet Mrs. Helms at McDonalds at 7:30 a.m.

  • In need of service hours? Good Samaritan Hospital is requesting help. Mr. Kenkel has applications. See him if interested.
  • Students who did not pick up their report card on Friday are reminded to do so in the office today.
  • Art Club meets on Tuesday after school in room 022.
  • Seniors: Any senior who wants to submit their transcripts should get those requests to Mrs. Ungerbuehler by this Friday, Oct. 13. Transcripts would have to be mailed by Nov. 23 to get to the colleges before December 1. Remember we return from Thanksgiving break on Nov. 30. It will be too late to send if you wait that long.
