Afternoon Announcements

  • A friendly competition is being held between Badin and Hamilton High to see who can bring in the most toys by our basketball game next Saturday. Please bring in your new or gently used toys, or a donation, and give it to C. Schindler.
  • The Badin and Hamiton High boys' basketball teams will play in the OHSAA Foundation Week game. The games will be played at Badin in the Mulcahey gym on Saturday, Nov. 28th. JV game will be played at 6:00 p.m and Varsity at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds are donated to the Bill Brewer Scholarship in memory of Coach Brewer who coached in both the GCL and the GMC. Admission for this event is $7 adults and $4 students/senior citizens. Badin will have pre-sale available on Nov. 23 and 24 (7:30-2:30) at the same price as at the gate. Badin activity cards may not be used for this event.
  • Monday is a Mass day. All students are in formal uniform.
  • CYO high school basketball sign-up sheet is in office for any girls interested.

AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Both swim practices are cancelled for tonight.

Pro Life Club will meet at 1:50 in 009. Must attend in order to go to Washington DC.

Actors in the one-act plays are reminded to report at 6 p.m. Use the cafeteria for make up and costumes.

All girls interested in playing CYO basketball please sign up in the office.

Any juniors who would like to participate in next Monday’s Thanksgiving mass are asked to sign up on the table outside the Campus Ministry Office by the end of the day today.

Monday is a mass day…all students are in formal uniform.

  • All November junior retreat leaders need to see Mrs. Helms before leaving today.

  • Mr. Rains' government test has been postponed until Friday, Nov. 20th.

  • This is a reminder that the seniors are hosting Dine-to-Dance tomorrow at the west side Applebee's. Please bring family and friends to help support Adopt-A-Family. Pick up a flyer in the office and attach it to your bill.
  • There is a Student Council meeting today after school in the library.
  • Attention volleyball players - turn your uniforms in to room 105 by Friday. Coach Kathman will be here on Friday to check uniforms.
  • Come out and laugh at the one act plays on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the little theatre.
  • Any freshman or sophomore girls who would like to discuss any academic or social concerns, please feel free to sign up to eat lunch with Mrs. Bucheit on Friday. Sign-ups are in the guidance department. See Mrs. Bucheit if you have any questions.
  • Cross country runners are reminded to turn in their uniforms to Coach Smith today.

  • There will be a brief NHS meeting in room 225 this afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
  • Pro-Life Club will meet this Thursday at 1:50 p.m., not at 2:30 p.m. Final information and permission form will be passed out for Washington DC. You must attend in order to go.
  • All students and faculty are invited to our Thursday morning Mass. Mass is less than 15 minutes. Come and experience the great power!
  • Congratulations to the following football players who were selected to the AP All-Southwest District team - J. Gavin-1st team offense; M. Combs, N. Seither, J. Smith-1st team defense; and P. Coyne & T. Sanders-Honorable Mention. Great job!

  • There will be an Anime Club meeting today after school in Mr. Reamy's room - 005. All are welcome!

  • Mr. Moore's classes report to the following locations: Per. 1 & 3 - Library; Per. 2 - 006; Per 4 - 022; Per 5 - 107 and Per 6 - band room.
  • We would like to welcome Brennan and Alex Theese to Badin HS today. They have moved to Liberty Twp. from Parma and are shadowing for the day.
  • Any TAG members who were not able to stay after school to make blankets yesterday are invited to bring completed blankets to the Campus Ministry Office this week. All blankets will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House when we visit there in December.
  • Any October Kairos leaders who did not pick up a yellow form from the table in the Campus Ministry Office need to get theirs today.
  • Any juniors who have not yet signed up to go on a Junior Retreat are reminded that there is still room for the March retreat. The sign-up sheet is on the table outside the Campus Ministry Office.
  • There will be a sign-up sheet on the table outside the campus ministry office next week for any TAG members who want to go tour the Ronald McDonald House on Monday, Dec. 14 after school.
  • CYO high school basketball sign-up sheet is in the office for any girls interested.
  • There will be an organizational/information meeting for all those interested in working on or being in the Spring Musical. This meeting will be held on Tuesday at 2:40 p.m. If you can't attend there will be another meeting that evening at 7:00 p.m. These meetings will be in room 104.

AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Ambassadors are reminded to turn in a copy of your report card to the Development Office this week. This is an expectation of your Ambassador Contract.

There will be an Art Club meeting Tuesday after school.

All TAG members are reminded that we are going to be making blankets in the library today from 2:30-4:00 p.m. If you didn’t bring your materials today but want to donate a blanket, please be sure to see Mrs. Helms this week. Service hours will be given to everyone who makes blankets to donate to the Ronald McDonald House.

All October KAIROS leaders are asked to stop in the Campus Ministry Office today or tomorrow to get a yellow form from Mrs. Helms’ desk.

There will be a KAIROS 4th Day Christmas meeting on Sunday, December 13. All seniors are welcome to attend.

MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be an organizational/important meeting for all those interested in working on or being in the spring musical. This meeting will be held on Tuesday at 2:40 p.m. If you can’t attend there will be another meeting that evening at 7 p.m. These meetings will be in room 104.

The History Club will meet in room 011 after school on Tuesday.
