Afternoon Announcements

  • Thanks to all who participated in the magazine drive. We collected 632 inches all together. The seniors came in first then freshmen with sophomores and juniors following. The green & white day will be announced later.
  • Seniors: The Hamilton Community Scholarship applications should be completed and submitted one week from today. See Mrs. Ungerbuehler with your completed packets. Also remember to complete an additional College Cost Estimator Form to submit with any need-based scholarships that you are applying for. See Mr. Kenkel if you have any questions.
  • Track sign-ups continue today. Stop by the office and sign up if you are interested.
  • Freshmen who would like to help decorate our hallway for Spirit Week - please come to Badin from 12-4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24th and bring boxes, bubble wrap, paint, tape, etc. Remember, if you want to participate in the Spirit Olympics you must help decorate on Sunday. If you would like to have an official freshman spirit week shirt, please see C. Pickerill by the end of the day today. The cost is $10 and payment must be made when ordering.
  • The History Club will meet after school on Monday in room 011.
  • The boys and girls swim teams are swimming against Hamilton and Ross today at 3:15 p.m. at Hamilton West YMCA across from Hamilton High School. Tonight is senior night! Come out and support the Rams!

AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

JKB juniors & seniors are needed to sell split-the-Pot tickets at Friday’s boys’ basketball game on behalf of the Best Buddies organization. Please see Ms. Kocher or Mr. Pendergest at the game.

Pre sale will be available today and tomorrow for the Purcell Marian game.

The History Club meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled for Monday in room 011.

Freshmen who would like to help decorate our hallway for Spirit Week please come to Badin from 12-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 24th and bring boxes, bubble wrap, paint, tape, etc. Remember, if you want to participate in the Spirit Olympics you must help decorate on Sunday. If you would like to have an official freshman spirit week shirt, please see Christopher Pickerill by the end of the day tomorrow. The cost is $10.00 and payment must be made when ordering.

Ambassadors are needed to help with our Information and Registration Night on Thursday, January 28th, as well as at the annual St. Joseph Open House on Sunday, January 31st. Please sign up in the Development Office as soon as possible. We need a number of ambassadors on January 28th to help the registration for the class of 2014 run smoothly. This is a very important night.

The family of a 1st grader attending St. Ann’s is in need of a tutor. A volunteer would be expected to meet at 3 p.m. two times a week for a few weeks. If you would like to help this family, see Mr. Kenkel.

This great event will be Friday, January 22nd from 7-8 p.m. at the Old Butler County Courthouse on High Street. Mr. Finnigan will officer 1.5 service hour’s for this event. Flyers are in the office and in room 009. See Mr. Finnigan for further details.

  • Looking for summer employment? The Hamilton County Park district is looking to fill 100 positions. If interested, pick up a paper in the guidance office. You can locate them on the counter near the entrance door. You must be 16 years old at least.
  • Congratulations to the Wrestling Team who came in sixth out of 18 teams at Reading this past weekend. Top placers were E. Sanders and D. Guilford who came in first, C. Bierman who came in third and L. Saey who came in 5th. Congratulations guys!
