AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

This is just a reminder to all March Junior Retreat Leaders that our leader meeting has been changed from tonight to Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. Please be on time and bring your binder.

Attention juniors--there is still room for up to 6 juniors interested in going on retreat next week. If you would like to sign up, please see Mrs. Helms tomorrow before the end of the day, it’s free! For those who are currently signed up, you should be receiving your permission slip and information form in religion class tomorrow.

Don’t forget your toiletry items or dollars for the Haiti raffle. There are 6 raffles each valued at over $50. Don’t wait; get your name in the drawing. We will be at lunch tomorrow & next Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Winners will be chosen on Monday, March 15 during homeroom announcements.

Afternoon Announcements

  • All students and faculty are informed that there will be no mass on Thursday. However, we will have a special Lenten Communion Service on Friday and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.   • There will be a brief, mandatory meeting for all football players in room 109 immediately after school today.
  • The meeting of the March Jr. Retreat leaders has been changed from tomorrow night to Sunday night. Please see Mrs. Helms if you have any questions.
  • All February Junior Retreatants who were in Corey & Adrian's group need to come to chapel immediately after announcements.
  • Don't forge to bring in $3 to donate to Haiti tomorrow at lunch to get an out-of-uniform day.
  • Bring in your Haiti donation for the raffle at lunch on Friday.
  • Celebration needs 2-3 students who are highly experienced in Powerpoint to make a presentation for the auction. Please see Mrs. Angie Gray in the Development Office.
  • Pre-sale tickets for the Friday night's boys basketball game against Madison and Sat. afternoon's girls basketball game against Versailles are on sale in the office. Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $7 at the gate.

  • There will be a JSA meeting after school today in Mr. Mears room Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • The next two weeks here at Badin are geared toward helping Haiti. For the next two days you can make a $3 donation to St. Joseph's Home for Boys in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and be out of uniform this Friday, March 5. Lunch tomorrow will be your last chance to make your donation in order to be out of uniform on Friday.
  • Each Mon., Wed., and Fri. of this week and next week we will be holding a raffle in the cafeteria during both lunch periods. There are six raffle packages from which to choose. For just $1 or a donation of one toiletry item you can get a raffle ticket to put into the jar for a given package. The winner of each raffle will be drawn on Monday, March 15 during homeroom. All proceeds and donations will go to Haiti.
  • The March Junior Retreat list is located on the table outside the Campus Ministry Office. All who are interested MUST confirm a place by the end of the day today. If you are on the list but no longer choose to go, please cross off your name. If you are not yet on the list but would like to go, please add your name. There is still room for at least seven or eight more juniors. YOU MAY ONLY GO ON ONE JUNIOR RETREAT.
  • There will be a TAG meeting next Monday, March 8 after school in the library. All members are urged to attend as we have MANY topics to cover!

  • Ambassadors are encouraged to sign up for the Annual Fund Phone-a-Thon, which will take place Monday & Tuesday evenings, March 15 & 16 at Matandy Steel in Hamilton. We need 8 ambassadors each evening. Pizza is part of the program!

  • There will be a brief JETS meeting in room 225 at 2:30 p.m. today.

MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to Eddie Sanders for placing 3rd at the District Tournament this past weekend at Kettering Fairmont. He beat 3 ranked students in the state to advance to the State Tournament in Columbus. He now has 96 career wins. Come to support Eddie in Columbus, as he pushes for his 100th career win. Congratulations and good luck Eddie!

Congratulations to our girls’ basketball team who are Sectional Champs after defeating Fenwick!

Tickets are available until 2:45 today for the boys’ basketball game at UD tonight at 8:30. Pre sale price is $5.00. Tickets are $7.00 at the door. UD charges $3.00 for parking.
