AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

The next two weeks at Badin are geared toward helping Haiti. For the next 3 days you can make a $3 donation to St. Joseph’s Home for Boys in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and get out of uniform this Friday, March 5.

Each Monday, Wednesday & Friday of this week and next week we will be holding a raffle in the cafeteria during both lunch periods. There are 6 raffle packages to choose from. For just $1 or a donation of 1 toiletry item you can get a raffle ticket to put in the jar for a given package. The winner of each raffle will be drawn on Monday, March 15 during homeroom. All proceeds and donations will go to Haiti.

Anyone interested in playing men’s volleyball should attend open gym on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday from 7-9 in the main gym. Tryouts will be on Monday, March 8, from 7-9 p.m.

Ambassador Officers meet today after school. Please plan to attend.

Members of the History Club will have Steven Newman as a guest speaker after school on Friday in room 011. Mr. Newman is the first recorded human being to have walked around the world. Please come and listen to his stories about his fantastic journey around the world.
