The Guidance Office wants to thank everyone for your consideration of our presenters yesterday. All 3 guests were impressed with your attentiveness. 1st bell teachers should distribute the materials associated with the presentation. Everyone should take some time to become familiar with this information.

Seniors: Please remember to return to the main office the yellow “Post High School Plans” sheet. DUE DATE: FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH. The information that you provide is very necessary for us in sending your final transcript & for tabulating other necessary information needed for the school profile that is sent to colleges.

The Patrick Connelly Memorial Scholarship for $1000 is available to any senior who will be attending Miami University-Oxford or Miami University-Hamilton. The deadline is May 7. See Mr. Kenkel for an application. Hurry, the deadline to return this scholarship to Mr. Kenkel is May 7.

Students who are interested in interviewing to be an ambassador for the next school year should sign up this week in the Development Office. If you have any questions, see Mr. Allen or Mrs. Gray.

Science Club will be having a meeting today & tomorrow after school. All people participating in Envirothon please come, we will be having guest speakers.

 The Sisters of St. Dominic in Madeira cordially invite all Badin girls interested in learning more about religious life to come to their monthly “Prayers & Pizza” night this Sunday, May 2, 2010 starting at 5 p.m. The evening will conclude around 7:30 p.m. This will be the final “Prayers & Pizza” of the school year, so don’t miss out!

The baseball games are canceled today. JV practice is at 6 p.m. and varsity practice is at 7:30 – both in the PFAC. Badin will play Moeller on Thursday, April 29.

Track practice at Fairfield today at 5:15 p.m.

Cincinnati Bell Telephone will be presenting a program to us tomorrow during bells 2 & 3. The program will educate us on the topic of “Sexting and Social Networking”. Because of the importance of this subject matter, it will be important for seniors & juniors to hear the presentation during 2nd bell while sophomores and freshmen listen during 2nd bell. The assemblies will take place in the Little Theater.

Members of the History Club going on the Memphis Trip are reminded to bring in their permission slips to Mr. Mignery.

Thanks to all who made the 30-Hour Famine such a great experience. Anyone who needs to pick up their shirt can come to the Campus Ministry Office today. If you paid but could not make it, there are shirts in a box in the office as well.

Our TAG meeting today will begin at 2:40 in the library. We will be selecting next year’s officers and will have a speaker from LIFE CENTER with us. TAG members and guests are welcome to attend.

The boy’s JV volleyball team defeated Princeton last night to move to a record of 5-4. Also, the boy’s varsity volleyball team defeated Princeton for the first win in Badin boy’s volleyball history! Congratulations!

In honor of Earth Week, we invite students, faculty & staff to help keep our environment clean! We will meet in the lobby tomorrow (Tuesday, April 20th) after school at 2:45 p.m. to walk around our campus and pick up trash. Students who attend will earn one (1) service hour. Interested? Anyone wishing to be in Student Council next year must attend the workshop this Thursday. This includes anyone running for an office or for representative. The workshop will be given at 7:15 a.m. and 2:35. You MUST attend one session. These will be held in the library. There is a Student council meeting on Wednesday after school in the library.

Just a reminder for those students who sold their $100 in tickets to earn the out of uniform this week: Please refer to page 14 of your handbook for what is allowed and not allowed for out of uniform days. If you do not follow these guidelines, you will receive demerits. Play special attention to #2, #7 and #8. Thank you for your cooperation.

Reminder to all students who drive to school --- all autos must have a parking permit displayed in the front windshield. In checking the last two days, there are several that do not. If you have one make sure it is displayed. If you don’t have one, either purchase one or don’t drive to school.

Meters for Mozart, a 5K run/Walk to raise money for the Hamilton/Fairfield Symphony Orchestra will take place this weekend on Saturday, April 17, at Joyce Park. Students will earn up to three service hours for walking/running the 5K. Interested? See Mr. Hosmer for more information.

Anyone wishing to be in Student Council next year must attend the workshop this Thursday. This includes anyone running for an office or for representative. The workshop will be given at 7:15 a.m. and 2:35 p.m. You MUST attend one session. These workshops will be held in the library.

There is a student council meeting on Wednesday after school in the library.

There will be a JSA meeting after school today in Mr. Mear’s room. All members MUST attend; we will be voting today.

All 30-Hour Famine Leaders are reminded that we will be meeting tomorrow after school in the Religious Ed Office.

30-Hour Famine registration will be THIS Wednesday & Thursday in the cafeteria. The cost for the retreat is $25.00 and must be paid upon registration!

All Kairos & Junior Retreat leaders who have not yet seen Mrs. Helms must do so before leaving school TOMORROW.

Attention Softball Team – today’s schedule has changed…
The JV softball game will be at home – team should wear green & be at the field at 3:30.
The varsity softball game will be at Roger Bacon today. The team should wear black and the bus leaves at 3 p.m.

Boys basketball will begin open gym / lifting for anyone that is not playing a spring sport on Tuesday after school.
